Real Madrid have defined their position regarding the future of forward Vinicius Junior.
According to Idman.Biz, citing ABC, Real Madrid will not allow Vinicius to leave the club on a free transfer after his contract expires in 2027 under any circumstances.
Club president Florentino Perez is considered one of Vinicius’ strongest supporters and reportedly views him as the second most important player in the squad after Kylian Mbappe. However, this backing does not mean that a contract extension will be smooth or automatic.
The source reports that the financial demands of Vinicius and his representatives differ significantly from the club’s offer. Real Madrid are not prepared to raise his salary to a level close to what Mbappe earns.
It is noted that if the parties fail to reach an agreement, the club does not rule out selling Vinicius before the expiration of his current contract.
